Go to a dermatologist regularly. I learned this week at the Melanoma Research Alliance patient advocacy symposium that 30% of melanoma can be traced from normal mole that goes rogue and turns into melanoma. 70% show as “suddenly” appearing melanoma. This was our experience. I would have thought the stats would be the other way around.
