I only ask as I suddenly starting getting dull aches and shooting pains in my arms and legs last night. Literally never experienced it before.
It kind of feels like that sort of pain you get when you've been out in the cold too long and then your body starts to heat up and get the blood pumping again.
It started in my left armpit, then my left upper arm, then my left leg and eventually in both arms and legs, fingers and this morning in my neck too. It's not crippling but it's irritating and distracting and ebbs and flows up and down in intensity.
Anybody shed some light on this for me?

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a bad night. I think you need to visit your GP In the first instance, lots of symptoms of Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS cross over with a myriad of other diagnosis. Your GP is best placed to diagnose these.
I’m getting investigated for FM now 11 years after a diagnosis of ME as my pain is getting increasingly worse. I do think that ME and FM are very closely related and very possible to develop one when you have the other.
I have both ME & Fibromyalgia. Diagnosed by rheumatologist and neurologist. One require gentle exercises which obviously clash with my severe ME so I have to have pain relief and suffer the flare. I have fibro pain constantly with a severe flare every 2/3 weeks. Only morphine helps with the pain. That obviously makes me nauseous & insomniac which isn’t good for my ME. I find myself exhausted and wide awake it’s weird!
