Advice on holiday insurance cover Please xx

Hiya people hope everyone is feeling well. Just a quick question- I am due to go abroad next month and am in need of getting holiday health insurance. Does anyone know any companies that are reasonably priced. I have been on the comparison sites and have had a quote for £81.00 and others wouldn't insure me. I have M.E/Cfs, fibromyalgia and am going to be 20 weeks pregnant when I travel. If anyone could help with this I would really appreciate it.

Thanks Ali xx

Hi, I've just arranged ours. I'm sorry to say that it's probably the pregnancy, rather than the ME and fibro that might be putting the price up. I've just paid £41 for 2 of us in our 40s and 50s, both with medical conditions and me having been in hospital 6 months ago with ME. (I used a company called Cover Cloud, found on a comparison site and it included pet, passport, hospital benefits etc).

One piece of advice I would give is DO NOT use a specialist medical company. It's like everything else, they think they can charge the earth because being a 'specialist' gives the illusion of providing superior cover, when it's just the same.

Good luck and have a lovely holiday.
