Hi, recently been diagnosed, waiting to see consultant next week but I'm after some direction on what happens next, what other tests do you have and treatment plus if I can recover, I've had my problems 2.5yrs now x

I am confused. What is transverse myelitis? Is this what you have been diagnosed with or have you also been diagnosed with ME/cfs? Not sure which you are asking advice for.

I'm sorry but I don't think anyone on the ME community site will be able to help you as ME is quite different. I hope the specialist will be helpful and that you will be able to make some improvement in your condition. x

Hello.

My nephew got this at age 13 - He was parylised from the waist down. It took a lot of therpy and patience but now he is able to walk fine, ride a bike and is generally fine. I wish you well.
