Greetings, I was diagnosed with M.E. in 2013, I recently began working for MacDonalds and am on my feet for most of my day. I was wondering if anyone else has M.E. and how they might cope with being on your feet and having M.E?

Thankfully I have a job where I mostly sit, (after years being in a position where I was on my feet 12-13 hours a day).

Unfortunately I am off work at present so cannot advise too well but I know form trying to keep active around the house where I used to be able to work non-stop, (if doing a big job I wouldn't stop to eat even), and now I have to take regular breaks - I've worked up to an hours activity with 20-30 mins rest.

For what its worth I've started using binaural beats when resting, (proper rest not sitting watching TV or chatting), to help reach a deeper relaxation quicker - I use delta rhythms such as this:

you can play it low 'under' some relaxing music.

Now I don't know if it is actually working or placebo but I do feel more refreshed using it.

Good luck.

You need a better diagnosis - you don't have M.E if you can work in McDonalds and be on your feet all day. Perhaps you have CFS instead.
