Autumn is my favourite time of the year and this mornings run, on the local Downslink and public footpaths was perfectβ¦despite my legs feeling a bit heavy at times! I put this down to an evening out in London yesterday and the dreaded Covent Garden tube station steps! The spiral staircase of 193 stairs is quite a climb and a very good workoutβ¦ but the queue for the lift was just too long!π―
Anyway, perfect running conditions this morning and sunshine too! A gentle breeze and cooling temperatures meant there were little flurries of falling leaves too.πππ As you can see from above, I took a few photos along the way. 10k done.π
Wishing everyone a good week of running and healing vibes for anyone on the injury couch.π

Looks gorgeous Sandra π! Itβs getting colder now but I think we runners embrace the changing seasons and take them in our stride πββοΈπββοΈ
Digging out the cold running gear is a happy event. That lovely merino long sleeve and a warmer jacket. Colourful hats and gloves π₯° π€π€π€
I might not be so smug later if I fall on my butt in the snow βοΈ π
I remember those stairs very well from my time working in the area Sandraj39 , and the queues to use the lifts too! π³ I walked/ran up them regularly, but I was a lot younger then of course π
