Hello to all our AWESOME HU10 runners!

I promise this is the last HU10 post from me - the final results of our spring 24 event.

As admins, we have honestly loved every minute.

Your enthusiasm, determination and creativity have been amazing - and your running has been pretty good too!!!

But, without further ado, let's announce our winners:

⭐ @channelrunner2 came in just 57 seconds faster than our clock time of 1:30:17, bagging first place in the 10K (out of 48 finishers overall) !!!

⭐chrisl72 was just 1 minute 36 seconds off our clock time of 2:25:00, to grab first place in the 10 miles (out of 13 finishers overall) !!!

Woohoo!!! Congratulations to you both!!!

⭐ Further special mentions to 00marks who recorded the fastest 10 mile time in a scorching 1:33 (literally scorching, in 31 degrees in Dubai!) and AllezLeChef who recorded the fastest 10k time in a supersonic 49:52!!!

⭐ Plus, a big shout out to RunWillie and chrisl72 who recorded run times for the double

⭐ Above all, to everyone who took part, a huge well done and massive thanks from us (especially for the wonderful run reports). Maybe see you to do it all again in the autumn!!!

I think the medals will be made in one run once all the orders are in (because our numbers are relatively small). I will call in a day or two to see what they plan, but wanted to leave a few days for the people who ran this weekend to get their orders in. Hope that's ok?

What a wonderful event. Even though my 10k was somewhat swallowed up by the Bristol 10k, I knew I was running at the same time as lots of you, and that felt great!

thank you admins for all your hard work. It has been fun to both take part and enjoy the experience with others. The run reports have been very entertaining. Congratulations to the winners and everyone who has taken part. Of course the excitement is not over, we have the medals to look forward to.

I was travelling the following day and slept on the train most of the way! When I pulled out of the Binfield 10K I thought “well at least I won’t be tired on my journey” 🤣 But I’m glad I made it work and really enjoyed the whole think. Waiting for my medal now!
