HU10 Completed

I did manage to finish my 10k at the Cardiff Bay 10k last Sunday but got struck down by the dreaded lurgy on Monday evening the only benefit being plenty of sleep on Tuesday and Wednesday. Ran it in 1.11.04 not a PB but just happy to survive in the heat. I saw 4 collapsed over the route the first only 100ms or so from the start. Hopefully they've all recovered now 😁🥇🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸🤸‍♀️

It was hot last Sunday and I hope all the runners are ok but you’d wonder why someone could fall so soon after the start line.

Well done on overcoming the conditions OMR. Maybe the fallers had contracted the lurgy too.

We had one really warm day last week….but now the rain has reappeared!! Seems to be stuck up here. 🤷🏻‍♂️
