What a lovely day for a run that started and finished at the home of Hampshire cricket. Arrived quite early and met the lovely @aliboo70. I also bumped in to a few runners I know from local parkruns so lots of nattering before the run began!
The weather was amazing for October - warm sunshine. I’m sort of hoping it’s not quite as warm for next week’s GSR though, as that’s a longer distance 🤞🏼.
As aliboo70 ’s report says, the two of us ran much of the race alongside each other and only finished slightly apart - amazing as she was not 100% on form.
Coffee and more chats afterwards then home I went, lovely bling and t-shirt in hand, a long soak in a hot bath, now exhausted 😂 but happy.

Well done on your 10k Mudita11 and lovely bling!😍🏅
Hope all goes well next weekend for the GSR. Probably my favourite race but I shall be watching from the sidelines this year as I am still recovering from an injury. Hubby and eldest son will be running it however and I know there are always quite a few HealthUnlocked runners too!👏🏃♀️🏃🏾♂️👍
Well done Mudita11 , I was thinking of you as I ran in Portsmouth this morning, it was so warm and I only did 5k. I understand it will be a few degrees cooler next Sunday with a light northerly breeze, so just perfect. I think vests and shorts might be on!
Super that you got to meet Aliboo and Kenny at the run today too.
