If you want bling for the HUHM/10K events…..

If, like me (and a few others here … not mentioning any names 😂) you are motivated by the shiny stuff and would like a medal to celebrate your HU virtual event on the 14th May, then you might want to consider signing up for a virtual run.

There are lots of companies out there but here are a few who are offering lovely bling! The Virtual Runner Spring HM is popular so don’t waste time if you want to enter. Yesterday when I looked there were about 85 places left and today there are 54! But there are still lots of places for the 10K and it is such a lovely medal 😍

If I weren’t doing a hm in April, definitely! I’ve also got a stinker of a cold so taking it a bit easy right now (just walks at the moment). Saying all that, I’m still thinking about it….

arrrhhhh, I was kicking myself that Id missed this on 14th May, but Ive got the Boston HM in April and the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 13th May, so as much as I love bling, I don't think my legs will allow me to walk never mind run!!🤣🤣

However, I am now looking at some of the other events/dates and there's some lovely medals, very tempting!!

Snap! All my favourite leggings SB (very reduced)-my oldest pair are about five years old with no signs of wear. I’ve never paid full price.

There’s now a SB outlet at the local outlet village. So much temptation there!

Oooh! Pictures may be required! I’m wearing my first pair of powers today. I was wearing them when I fell over and my first thought (after stopping my watch!!) was whether I’d ripped them. Both knees bleeding and bruised but leggings intact!

I was sitting on a bench which might explain the weird pose!

The same thing happened to me. I fell, cut my knee but the leggings were completely fine. We should contact SB and tell them. We might get some discount 🙂

Thank you! I agree we should definitely het some sort of ambassador pay for the “look at how banged up I was but my leggings survived!” Thinking about it, I was wearing exactly the same outfit today as when I fell over…

All recovered now, thank goodness. Wrists and elbows took the worst of it. Took a good few weeks to heal-wasn’t expecting sprains to take so long but really pleased there wasn’t any worse damage. I kicked a drain cover mid stride and ended up face down on the pavement just before we had that icy spell before Christmas!
