ooh Rain,rain .. glorious rain 🌧️🏃‍♀️🙏

i will never complain about rain again 🤣 That was one of the best Runs I've ever ran, not the fastest..but it really felt great after the heat we've been running in ! Today's conditions I would normally think twice before running in.

felt strong today and knew I could carry on a bit further than my usual 12k

an hour in and the puddles were filling up and getting a bit squishy underfoot.. but it really was quite refreshing so carried on legs easy, breathing easy..

So 10 Miles done ✅ Happy days 🏃‍♀️🌧️

A good run in the rain for you today Caroline, glad you didn't mind running through the puddles and getting refreshingly wet, nice time too, only very light rain this morning in the Glasgow area, parkrun for me tomorrow morning with rain forecast for the afternoon.

Tomorrow is Drumpellier Parkruns 3rd birthday, so that's the one I am going to, all the runners have been promised a piece of birthday cake after the run, this will be the third birthday parkrun I have been since May, it was Springburn's 8th birthday on 14th May, Dunfermline's 7th birthday which was my 50th parkrun on July 2nd and tomorrow as I say is Drumpellier's 3rd birthday.

Ooh I know,such a dramatic change in temperature, but was lovely and refreshing while running..I went to cinema yesterday and it was cold in the auditorium,I think they still had the Aircon set for the hotter weather 🤧

Ah brilliant Sparky. Rain rocks! So good to see you running strong 💪🏽. Same happened to me about 2 weeks ago, was going to do about 12k or so and managed to keep going, although it took me a good 10 minutes longer than you so I think that’s an excellent time 😁. Way to go! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
