A lovely breeze and overcast! What more can I say, you will all know just how good that is!!! Ah, bliss ๐๐๐.
Having not run for three days I was itching to get out and it looks as though quite a few others had the same idea as I saw the most runners Iโve ever seen at silly oโclock ๐. My legs felt pretty good, and I was delighted to see a deer which stood still long enough for me to take a picture. Note to self though, I still donโt own any shorter leggings with pockets. Must get some!
I enjoyed gallumphing through the woods. When your pace and your breathingโs right, it feels very natural and enjoyable. As though itโs meant to be. Well, for as long as that feeling lasts! I sped up for the last km and looked like a beetroot when I got home! Iโve never done any speed runs per se but the last bit of this route is a gentle downhill slope and perfect for speeding up.
Have a smashing day all, itโs so much more comfortable today ๐๐๐.

That sounds like a fabulous run! I didn't get out quite so early and although it was cool to start it warmed up very quickly as the sun burned through the clouds. Still, as you say it was WAY better than the last couple of days ๐
Isn't it just brilliant when you're legs are feeling strong and you have a great Run ๐ ๐ช Makes you feel amazing..love that buzz when it comes ๐โโ๏ธ๐
What a majestic deer you captured.. looking at you with awe.. thinking I'm not the only one galumphing through the woods ๐โโ๏ธ๐ฆ
Thank you Sparky! The deer was lovely - theyโre hard to take photos of as they usually disappear in a flash. Youโre right about the legs thing, and it doesnโt happen too often, not this end anyway! Makes us come back for more ๐. Hope you are cooler today - itโs been a funny few days really hasnโt it. ๐๐๐
What a fab photo of that deer Frenc ! They always make off before I can get my phone out. Can't blame them though, round here they're used to be being shot at with guns, not lenses.
Thank you Cmoi ! Itโs a growing population - I never remember seeing that many when I was young. The funny thing is if my glasses are too low down my nose they really look like big rabbits from a distance. I need a big pair of running glasses like Dennis Taylor used to play snooker in ๐.
When I'm driving through the forest and glimpse an animal bounding along just off the road I don't always know if it's a hare or a small deer. Best to keep my eye on the road though as it winds a lot and is definitely not flat!
Thank you Ian! It was a really enjoyable run, and the temperature made a vast difference. The deer was lovely. Mind you I had a run yesterday and an animal ran across the road just ahead of me and I still have no idea what it was - it looked as though it was related to something from the large Guinea pig family. Global warming? An escapee from the local Marwell Zoo? Bad eyesight? I shall never know! ๐คฃ
