Half next weekend

Swansea half next week and this weekend I’m in Dublin so Running has gone out the window. Plus my running shoes I bought a month ago hurt my little toe so I’m probably going to have to do the race in my shoes with massive holes! Hope everyone else’s training plans are going well!!

Ah thank you just bought a second pair but still have issues it may need to be the old but trusty ones!

Sounds like a good weekend! Also, you’ve plenty of time to rehydrate before your HM (I learnt that one the hard way).

It does seem to take some planning to ensure that shoes are OK for race day. With one pair wearing out, I ran a ParkRun in the new pair then used them for a race. Thankfully they were fine (still think that being able to try them out in the shop is well worth it).
