I'd read that you should do your recovery run within 24 hours of the hm.. Well.. . 6 days later I managed it. I was a bit anxious leaving it so long but a certain 3 yr old staying had something to do with that. ' Mormor, not running... Playing with me'! Today I went.... 6am and the heath was pristine. It feels like my world when it's empty. Listening to music from Scotland I had a huge grin on my face when the first jig was played. I had a beautiful 5k, saw a deer, rabbits and squirrels. When I got back to the car the beach was still empty tho the 8 campervans parking overnight illicitly were obviously not early risers. A quick swim and home for breakfast.... It's good to be alive and able to do this so often.

Recovery run.
Oh, that sounds like such a wonderful early morning run! I’m sure the little one will have more than made up for your delayed recovery session.
Exquisite Mormor. 🥰
Yes great to get up early before anyone about. Well done on your recovery run and your swim. You probably did as much running about after a 3 year old . 🙂
Amazing! Well done for getting the run in but also a swim - absolutely amazing!
Thanks Asnadrun, I'm lucky enough to live near the sea and love those dips at the end of a run. Especially on a deserted beach.
That sounds wonderful. Well done👍🏽
Great start to the day!
Sounds wonderful! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️😀 👍
A swim in the sea afterward is just perfection 👌
It certainly is misswobble, and now it's warmed up an nth it's easier to stay in. It's my warmdown exercise!
Just wonderful. So good for mind and body 🙂
I’m doing a coastal HM in Sept. If it’s nice I’ll be in afterwards🌊 😁. Mind you it was nice last time I raced there but it was much colder down on the beach 😁 I volunteered to play with the little un 🥶
