I can’t say much. Words are often misplaced when faced with such an achievement. I’ll just sit down and be happy for her. Wow, indeed.

Marathon as a ‘training run’ springs to mind. This is incredible stuff.

WOW!

To put it in perspective, my recent half marathon distance was at a pace of 9:52/mile (approx 2h09 in duration).

A pace of 7:37/mile is 4:44/km. That's a parkrun time of 23:40. Except she did 32.2 parkruns back-to-back.

Last year I contacted and ‘spoke’ to Jake Catterall on Twitter, a fella who covered 200km in 27 hours. To this day that still hasn’t sunk in. 200 kilometres. Some guys simply go longer. As simple as that. 😀

I did a little over 200km in January! That's the whole month, running every single day.

It’s not just the distance, there’s tempo as well. Like super humans (which effectively they are). I’ll think about it next time I start slowing down during my 10k ‘effort’.

Absolutely. Nothing but utmost respect and awe.

Wonder if she uses jelly babies as snacks?

Not sure, but somehow doubt it. This is stern stuff. Running at such tempo for nearly 11 hours takes more than that (as well as an impeccable athleticism/genes to make that happen).

Would love to see her training log.

Awesome 💪👊✊. That’s so fast💨 Incredible pace for such a long distance. What a gal 🏃‍♀️

Her lung/heart capacity and leg power are on a completely different level.

Superhuman feat isn’t it 💪but she’s had to graft to get there 🙂

This is lifestyle stuff. She got the basics right (great parents/genes), as well as talent and determination to start with. The rest is a full time job without cutting corners. The only way to greatness, and she's certainly one of the greats.

Mental toughness too. Having the physical and mental toughness to keep going. At those distances women can be stronger than blokes 💪

It’s good stuff to hear about in these trying times 🙂

I listened to her being interviewed on the Ali on the Run Show podcast yesterday, it was really fun! Interesting too. I have heard Camille on a podcast before, and found her voice a bit challenging to listen to, but I seemed to be able to cope with it this time! If you don't already know her, Ali is a great interviewer:

Thanks for that. I've found it in my podcast player app and downloaded it for a future run. It's 80 minutes long, so best for a much longer run, which seems slightly appropriate!

Ha yes! Ali IS a great interviewer, but she's not so good at managing the length of her interviews for sure 😂 Value for money, though!

I started to listen to it yesterday on a walk and finished it today on my 14km "tumble" run.

The woman is a running machine! Her idea of a short training run is 20 miles and her preferred distance is 50 miles, but she'd far prefer to get into sprinting. (And I have a lot of praise for her support team, AKA husband.)

I’ve not, so thanks for that, I’ll go and have a listen while I’m on the sofa with my knee up 😤

I love to hear stories about strong women. We need it when there’s such “false messages of lethargy” about. To quote Jillian Michaels 😀💪

Speaking of which, I had to draw myself up to my full height yesterday when confronted with a bully 🤨
