On the back of my ‘why am I so cold…’ post on Thursday, I’ve come down with a cold - not had one of those for a couple of years and don’t like it. Guessing it was brewing and a reason I didn’t enjoy Thursdays run and felt so bad after.
I’ve taken the decision to miss, or rather reschedule my long run today - don’t think I’d be capable of running 10+ miles. Hoping to be rearrange mid week as I’m not going to get permission for a 2-2 1/2 hour run next Saturday. Looks like my dream of hitting 21k on NYE isn’t happening- isn’t that the day I used to look forward to going the pub? Now I’m looking forward to the idea of attempting my first HM run - what’s happened to me?!!
Ah well January isn’t going anywhere and a week or so delay won’t hurt if needed 😥
I am going to sneak out on Xmas day for a short run though - the missus and kids don’t know that though 😂

Nawhhh. Feel better soon. It's fun squeezing this running lark in between family commitments isn't it? When I found myself drinking water during a New Year's eve dinner with friends one year (because of a run the next day), I was amazed! How we change 😊
I ate too much one Boxing Day lunch and couldn’t stand the overstuffed feeling. When I got back home I thought I’d run it off. 21k later I felt much better 😃🏃♀️
