Well, November was a fabulous month for races! There were so many miles covered and much shiny bling on show and we loved reading all the brilliant run reports too π All in all, a busy month for running!
So now we head to December. The amazing TailChaser will hit the mid-point of her challenge, running her third of five 10K races in The Winter Series.
So, who else has a race in December? Anyone heading out for a Pudding race or a Santa dash perhaps? Tell us in the comments and give us the date and a link to the website if you can. Weβll then add you to our list and give you a SHOUT-OUT just before your big day!
Nothing on in December (I had planned a race on 5 Dec but I'm not going to be able to do that as my husband is finishing his Masters). But I'm planning lots of races for next year once he is all done! Currently thinking about giving myself a new distance to aim for with a 30k trail run in May.
I should be doing my hometown 10k but Iβm wondering whether to bother. The coffee is truly vile. The worst ever, and thereβs no food except burgers, and my husband said he wouldnβt recommend those either, and heβs not remotely fussy. No cake either βΉοΈ Hmm π€. On the plus side there will be a shoe sale - and they do the whole range at knock-down prices so I might just go for that and support the runners
I might think differently once my toes heal up π
Thank you. My left big toe aaaagh π¬. Iβve used a bag of Epsom salts this week. Now onto the bag of Dead Sea stuff. Itβs a game innit βΊοΈ
Iβve had a week off but going to leave it a bit longer. Walking the dog though so not completely idle ππΆ. Itβs really icy out there so Iβm not exactly clamouring to run π
I nearly signed up for a santa run but to be honest I couldn't face buying another costume... you see I've started back teaching and since September we've had wear red, wear yellow, wear Welsh colours, pumpkin day, pyjama children in need day, now next week it's elf run day π€£ I will be supervising not running tho!!! Oh and of course Christmas jumper day π
Me!!! I have The Westonbirt House Christmas 10K on 12 December. I use to do these every year as the bling is fabulous but needless to say I havenβt been for a few years. Iβm soooooo looking forward to it!
Just catching up with a few posts as Iβve not been well (sinus head cold) Iβve got 1 run planned for December - 10k Darklink.
29th December
10k run up the Downslink from Shoreham to Bramber, and back, an evening run, so great to test out the head torch Iβve asked Santa for for Christmas π
Hello Linda! I suddenly thought today, itβs December, there must be another run request post!! Yes, two weeks to go to the 3rd Winter Series race (27th). Anti clockwise again. A good way to burn off the Christmas excesses. If I donβt overdo it then maybe I can get a few places further up the leader board? π
Iβm really hoping that Katnap will be joining me rather than marshalling this time but heβs injured so weβre keeping everything crossed π€π€π€
Good luck to everyone else on their December excursions ππππ
