As I drink my coffee watching CBeebies with the youngest one, on a rare day off, and look out at the blustery grey day outside I'm wondering what are your 'get your kit on and run' motivation tips.
I'll kick off by saying I turn to Strava to catch up on all my contacts amazing runs and activities - they sure are a busy bunch and that helps me to get moving too.
What are your top motivation tips for getting out the door?

It's very hard. On a workday I get up mega early, straight up and workout, then change and straight out the door. On my days off it doesn't matter how much I want to get out, if I have that first cuppa and sit down I'll be so much later shoving myself out there than I wanted, then I'll give myself a hard time later for "wasting" that precious time! 🙈🤣
I run after work on weekdays so prepare during the day for it in terms of fuelling. I look at it as 'my time' that is sacred and that I deserve. Plus, every single after run glow (no matter how far or how it went) is so much more rewarding than not going 😊
Hmmm. I never have a problem. Rain or shine, if it's a run day I'm up for it from the minute I get up! Stopping me running when I have an injury or a niggle - I could do with some help with that!!! 😀
👋 hi, I see you are running the Conwy HM tomorrow. I looked at the website and it looks a great route! I am tempted for next year 🤔 I look forward to reading your race report - wishing you the best of luck 👍😀Regarding motivation I found training for my first HM (in October this year) was a great motivator. I was determined to finish and enjoy it so knew I needed to keep up with the training runs and stretching etc. 😊 Since then, and with work getting busy I am finding it harder to get out there!
Hey, I have ran round the Orme a couple of times and it is stunning - definitely recommend running there either in HM or otherwise 😀. I also find it motivating to have an event planned!
