Leggings for winter comfort

Hello,

My old Nike leggings are wearing out and badly need replacing.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

The bam running leggings look excellent and I'm tempted to try them. Does anyone use them?

I like my Ron Hill winter run tights. I have two styles and love them both 🙂

Most of my leggings are Sweaty Betty as they are high waisted and fit very well. They’re also hard wearing and I’m still wearing some that are 6 years old. I get them in the sales.

But for freezing winter days my warmest pair are More Mile.

There are loads out there and you probably need to shop around and see what works for you. But that’s the fun bit! Enjoy 😊

Sounds promising but I'm keen to avoid looking like Simon Cowell out for a run.

More Mile shoes are also really good.

Oops! Sorry. I should have read your profile first 🙄 Forget Sweaty Betty though!

TKMaxx can be good for sports wear too….

Good point.

Back to Harry's Garage and Harry's Farm before hitting the cross trainer for some intervals. It's a trifle damp today.

I have a pair of winter running leggings from Decathlon. They have a thin layer of fleece on the inside. I find them perfect when the temperature drops below 0°C.

Thanks for the tip. I should have thought of Decathlon. They're also excellent for bike kit.

I can recommend the Decathlon stuff too. These are very soft and warm:

Lol I was going to send you a link to a great pair I got recently from Mountain Warehouse in the sale, but then saw you’re a chap! I don’t think what suits a 5’3 lady would work for you 🤣. However - Mountain Warehouse probably still have some good offers on and may be worth a look. What’s really important to me is a bit of compression and pockets for phone etc. Happy hunting! 😁

I've got some from decathlon, I like them but they haven't been tested in really cold weather yet. I'm also eyeing up the bam leggings, so I'm hoping someone will come along to enlighten us🤞I've got some other stuff from them and been impressed with it all so far, but no running gear yet.

I've just ordered 2 pairs of leggings from BAM as I'm a big fan of their coats, shirts, and shorts. The BAM sale is a good one to watch out for as their kit is typically more expensive than high street stores but worth every penny.
