Well, this should have been my Run Reigate 10K report but sadly ( for reasons I won’t go into ) I didn’t make the start line! Suffice to say, it’s not been the best week for me - that’s life though isn’t it- the ups and downs, the highs and lows!
I did however, make it to the running festival as a spectator, to cheer on my husband (and many others) in the Half Marathon!😀🏃🏻♂️
The event was really well organised and Priory Park was a great setting for the festival which also included a 5K, the 10k and a series of children’s runs too. Great atmosphere, great marshalling and a huge killer hill in the last couple of k (maybe I had a lucky escape?😂)
Either way, my OH did really well 🏅and here’s hoping I get to have a crack at it next year instead!
🙂

Sorry that you've had a tough week and things didn't go according to plan. The running festival sounds like a lovely event. Well done to OH and fingers 🤞that things improve and next year sees you completing your chosen run.
When we enter these events so far in advance we never know what life may throw at us on the day Sandra. But I’m so glad that you were able to go as a spectator and enjoy the festival from a different angle.
Well done to hubby on his HM. It’s great to be able to cheer people you know over the line.
Sorry to hear you couldn’t make it. I did the 10k and it was so good to be at a ‘real’ running event again 🏃♀️😊. Priory Park was buzzing wasn’t it? I met up with some colleagues that I hadn’t expected to see and at the finish was treated to some delicious homemade cake. All in all a great day out.
So sorry to didn't get to do your 10k Sandra, but well done to your OH and lovely that you were able to cheer him, and the others, on their runs instead. Here's to next year, and a start line you will get to cross 🤞🤗😊
