New shoes!!

Visited nearest running store (just over an hour away) and was fitted for some lovely road shoes. Tried a few styles and sizes including different widths. Finally decided on Brooks Ghost 14 (wide). No choice of colour unfortunately. Tested them out today at my local Park Run which is all on pavements. They felt great - comfortable, cushioned and quiet (my trail shoes are so noisy on pavements!😂). In fact I didn’t notice I was wearing them so I suppose that is a good thing! It was warm and my feet did feel rather hot by the end so I might need thinner socks. But pleased with the shoes 👍
