What a wonderful run RW - sooooo close to the big 13.1 miles. I think Iβd have cried if I pressed stop too soon though. You sound very philosophical about it! I have no doubt that youβll be back to claim your badge soon. π
Huge congratulations on your 15k and 10 mile PBs. π
I do envy your weather, itβs so hot and muggy here at the moment. π₯΅π₯΅π₯΅π₯΅π₯΅
Itβs too funny cheekychipmunks π€£Iβm just waiting to see if anyone comments on Strava. What an idiot. Iβm hoping to run HMβs regularly so there will be another day β€οΈπββοΈ
Iβm embarrassed to say I donβt know if I follow you on Strava! We were talking about it at the weekend, trying to work out what peopleβs real names were! π€£
Congratulations on the PBs and the exceptionally long "training " run. But how frustrating- but you know that you can run a HM ! Looking forward to hearing about your official half marathon! In my first(and only) HM my Garmin paused because my phone rang ! I discovered it about 5 minutes later and restarted -so I think I ran an extra half km !
I was told no fractures from an xray - took an MRI to prove the stress fracture. Not heard of a stress fracture of the ankle tho. Hope you get some progress fast
Fantastic run! Frustrating about those few metres, but hey. To all intents and purposes you did it! Thatβs no mean feat. Many congratulations ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈππ₯³
Strava has a "long run" challenge this month. You need to do one run session of over 80 minutes per week. I was two minutes short of that duration on Saturday. Rats!
That's an HM in my book RW. I'd be happy to give you the badge if you want it. After all, these numbers are subject to GPS and Strava deviance, so there's no 100% accuracy other than what that screen says Just let us know and it's yours. And Congrats on this fantastic run!
Congratulations RunWillie on running your first half marathon, now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement, you say it's a nice WINTER day where you are in Australia, this Friday morning and remember it's summer where I am in Scotland UK the weather at 7.30 am is brilliantly sunny with no clouds in the sky, temperature 9C/48F predicted to go to 19 C later in the day, that is a lovely SUMMER day in Scotland.
