Thanks so much for this, nowster. Having come to running late in life, I knew nothing about Ron Hill other than that he was a former runner who started a company selling pretty awesome running gear.Turns out there was nothing"former" about his running, he never stopped! Truly inspirational.

He ran every day and made it a worldwide thing “Run Every day” is his logo and it’s on his clothing He ran every day for over 52 years 💪🏃‍♂️He was a fabulous runner and achieved so much He had a phD in chemistry too ✊

I ran in my fabbest Ron Hill tights today in respect for the great man. Rest in peace Dr Ron Hill. Your spirit will burn brightly 🙏

So true 🙂. There are some great photos of him He was a small guy but super fit. He ran in his trademark string vest and tiny short, no socks. He stripped things down to its basics 😃

I like the pic of him with the Laurel wreath around his neck and a haul of prizes. Like a superstar racing driver 😍
