There's only one street in our town beginning with 'I' and it's at the polar opposite side of town from me. I needed three 'Ds' and it turns out there aren't many more of those near me either!
While I was out, a man pulled up in his car and rather aggressively demanded to know if I had just taken a photo of his house ... well, maybe I said (not knowing where he had come from) and tried to explain but he roared off before letting me tell him it was only his number I was after (hopefully he'll see this and realise I wasn't up to any mischief π ) - maybe think twice before taking photos for this challenge!!!
On the way home (from that far flung letter 'I'), I decided to go through the woods. I almost turned back it was so muddy, but stuck with it (literally). So glad I did as I found a trail of Christmas 'cracker' jokes pinned to the trees. I'm sure I missed some but it was fun; I bet the kids love them (yep, they were all at child friendly heights).
Another 12k for the pot from me too π
Not being the most creative of people ... I may be taking a 2020 break tomorrow π€·ββοΈπ

I tactfully cut off the house name to hopefully keep him sweet π The Christmas cracker jokes (all now on the strava post but too many for here) successfully lifted the mood.
That is very creative Linda, well done. Iβm afraid I have been any further than the supermarket but a run is planned tomorrow (in the rain by the look of it)
I was expecting to get wet today but was lucky enough to stay dry (apart from the muddy puddles in the wood). Hope it's not too unpleasant for you tomorrow π€
Now, thatβs VERY creative Linda π I must say I was looking for all sorts of β2020β images on my run this morning but could find nothing βΉοΈ Must think about this some more.....
Ha ha π this made me laugh although being shouted at isn't really what any one wants when out running. I love the road names, great work. All I saw on my run was mud and wet leaves... No inspiration for me today.
Hmmm. Neighbourhood surveillance can be a problem! We had βOperation Eagle Eyeβ. A neighbour reported a young woman running down the cut next to our house, suitcase in hand, and leaping into a car waiting at the bottom . Suspecting a burglary, our neighbour reported it to the police; outcome....the young lady was having a hitherto secret fling with the car driver.....oops!!
Brilliant photos. I've been spelling out words on my hedge for a couple of weeks, changing every few days - Peace, Love, Smile, before I changed them to Hope tonight I decided to do 2020, half was through I saw a gentleman standing with a camera, he said he loved my words and what was I doing, had to abandon 2020 and put up Hope, I will try 2020 when nobody is looking π€£ However, I can give you a cumulative total of 10.5km for walks done on a glorious winters day today.
Oh, that's a lovely thing to do! and great to know it's been noticed and appreciated π. Maybe a 2020 in the middle of the night when no one else is looking π
Sadly only a walk tho ... still not running. Saving it for Christmas day as I suspect I only have one run in me at the moment. Will get there eventually ππ
