Thank you Dexy. 😊 It is a lovely run and I wasn’t expecting to do a HM at all. The climb into Peacehaven is a killer but I was expecting it this time and took it one small stride at a time.

No it was along the cliff top 🥵 a lot of up and down and the wind of course 🙄

The bling is very well deserved. Having looked at the map I remember why I never got to Peacehaven - Rottingdean had a very nice pub next to a duck pond.

Thanks GTFC 😄 I had never thought I would go this far as I find long distances hurt too much so I focus on shorter faster runs. I surprised myself tbh.

Thank you Sandra. ☺️ Those last 3 k were awful but that will be because I took no water or sweets I think. I’m not sure I’ll run another one tbh. But if I ever do, it’ll be a little flatter and hopefully a lot faster. And I’ll be better prepared.

Brilliant first HM, and look at that pace!! Amazing......in my world that is best 5k pace maintained over a hill strewn HM! Your heart rate average is great too; and you say you didn’t really prepare? You are a really serious runner!!👏👏👏👏🥂
