So I'll content myself with showing you a picture of the route and a brag that everyone's watches declared 10k achieved within 50m of the planned finishing point. The shuttle run at the eastern end of the prom ensured we all saw one another a few more times during the run than might have been the case. As others have noted, we did handicap starts with the aim of everyone finishing at the same time, and that (mostly see below) worked too, despite everybody finishing a couple of minutes or more (
or perhaps 20 minutes!!) inside their forecast times. Which, given a 20 mph wind and occasional driving rain was a pretty good performance all round. Well done us.
And well done the Stratford contingent for a similarly successful outing. Next year, all in one place hopefully - maybe even London!!
Oh, and I managed 51'45" which made me very very happy
