Got out the door and went out for another 4 km - did it as a tempo run alternating every 500m, that last repeat was almost all up hill!
Also made sure I focused on my form during today's session a bit more which I found very helpful - I find when I am focusing on something specific like form or pace, my mind doesn't tend to wander off to thoughts like 'when will this run be over' that much. Also having epic tunes help me push on no end! π

We have both had injury problems recently. On my comeback runs I was hyper aware of my left knee...feeling for any change which might spell trouble....so I was really pleased to be running but it was all quite tense. Getting to the end of a run was a relief. Now, my brain wanders all over as I run, I occasionally βcome toβ and check my watch/pace but the joy is back. I am loving building up distance again ; it sounds to me as though you are getting there. Working on improving something and listening to your music sounds like a good plan. πππ
Yay! Well done! Sounds like a great strategy for your runs - amazing how we keep learning new tricks for ourselves isn't it. Looking forward to hearing about the next run ππ
Well done for getting out. I've also lost track of my HM training, my eldest started school last week and with working, juggling childcare and everything else I'm struggling to fit it in π
