Does anyone know of a phone app I can use to alert me to different intervals and maybe warn me if I am in pace range (although that's not as important).
I would normally use the training/workout feature on Garmin which does all that very well, but I can't do that and also use the DwMap app on Garmin at the same time. Consequently I went the wrong way often today!!!
I don't want anything too fancy: a warm up in kms, a no of reps x (run 1k, walk 0.5k), a cool down in kms
Can Jog, run, sprint be set up to do this? Or any other phone based app you might know of? Has anyone used Ripit?
Thanks in advance if you know of anything.

Do you use a garmin watch? My forerunner 245 can be sent my custom workout and it keeps me in pace range. That would leave your phone free??
The thing is I'd like to see a map on my Garmin. Its just a Forerunner 235 so doesn't have inbuilt maps. I get round that by using Dwmap app on the Garmin to record the run (and show a map). Today I did use the Garmin workout function to record the run, and then kept checking the map on my phone .... but that meant I had to keep getting it out of my pocket 😂😂
Ideally I'd like to have the map on my watch (using DwMap) and a separate app on my phone which beeped through headphones or gave a voice prompt or whatever, to tell me when it was time to run or walk ... and my phone could then stay in my pocket!
Hi Linda, not that I use it much at the moment, but JogRunSprint can be customised to whatever length warmup/cooldown/intervals/reps you want. I’m not sure about the pace range info though. Might be worth checking out? 🥰
I had a brief look but it didn;'t ook obvious ... but as I'm typing this I'm thinking maybe I could set it to 0.5k run, 0.5k run and 0.5k walk! run, run, walk 🙂
Thank you. I'll take a look. I think I can possibly use RipIt to do what I want, but I've never heard of it before, whereas I have at least heard of Runkeeper!
