I know! The nearby Boston marathon is going ahead at the end of September with way more runners and supporters I thought about entering but I wonโt be ready by then

Oh yes Iโm very happy Al! There are no goodie bags, only one drinks station where you help yourself to a bottle of water and also you need to pick up your own medal at the end. Theyโre being very careful. ๐

We are definitely on for next year cheeky.
I did my 5k (not) parkrun on Saturday, but decided it was too soon to run with the others again on Monday. I waked in the rain instead! I meant to get out for a run today but I went picking blackberries with @oldgirlruns, getting caught in a downpour soon after. Then got stuck into domestic admin. So Iโll do another day of exercises and see what tomorrow brings . More rain by the looks of it.

It is CP2. I did it last year and had a great time although it was incredibly hot and thereโs no shade. Canโt see that being an issue this year. ๐

Itโll be so different to a race as we know it TC - weโll all have allotted start times, no crowds, no goodie bags - but we get medals which is THE main thing and I canโt wait! ๐โโ๏ธ๐ ๐

We need to remain socially distanced at all times but it shouldnโt be a problem on the Bridge as weโre running on a closed motorway and itโs lovely and wide. On the return leg we run on the adjacent walkway, which is still wide enough to pass (and be passed!), and the runners will be more spaced out by then anyway. So exciting! ๐๐๐
