My 10k Race is going ahead!

It's not a huge event and all precautions have been taken by the organisers. So I've decided to do it.

I drove passed my local Parkrun this morning on the way to my race and was real shocked to see how few people there were!

I enjoyed my 17th parkrun at Dunfermline today, there were 159 running, perhaps a little below the average of about 170, so not too many people did not go, there was talk just before the run began that today would be the last day for a while when a runner told me the the Vitality people who organise parkruns were having a meeting on Monday and would halt any more parkruns for a while, just hope not.

Al, Vitality is an insurance company. It sponsors parkrun in the UK but does not organise it.

PS, Hi Arthur, any idea when you might be running at Drumpellier again, we could have a threesome, me, Buddy34 and you could have a run some Saturday morning in the future, you were there a few months ago, you were just about a minute ahead of me and mentioned me when you wrote the run report.

Hi AliHC, my official Dunfermline Parkrun time today was 33.58 which keeps my sub 35 minute 5K times a 100% for parkruns which I am happy about, but according to the link I had with the Vitality World Running Cup🇬🇧Team GB 🇬🇧 , they have given me a time of 46. 01, really, well that's wrong, 46 minutes after I began my run I was in Dunfermline Bus Station waiting for the bus home, perhaps they counted the 10 minute 🚶 walk to the bus station as part of my 🏃🏾 run.. 😂

It's a little bit confusing how the runs are being calculated. My strava messed up yesterday and calculated that I'd only run 3.75k in 1 hour 6 minutes! And the map showed that I'd run on water! 😂 I know I'm good a some things, but not that good! 😏

One hour six minutes for running 3.75K 😂, if that had been a 10K you would be very proud of yourself, as far as walking on water 💦 🚶😂

When I get the official time for my run I'll let you know. But by my watch it was 58.2 munutes! Which is quite incredible! 😳 But I'd still be happy with 1 hour 6 munutes! X
