Just wondered if anyone else had received this in their inbox from Marathon Photos?
I imagine it must be pretty difficult for these events photographers at the moment - there is nothing to photograph! π« Someone has sat down and had a good think about how to generate a little income and hey presto! - let's try reminding runners of their past events - happy days, happy memories!π
I don't tend to buy race photos - (I generally look awful in them π) with the exception being one from my Bath Half back in 2017 - but today bought the pack plus video for Β£7.95! A small price to pay to re-live the memory of myself and my sister πββοΈππ»ββοΈ at various points on the course, including crossing the finish line together hand in hand!π Still my proudest running moment - and my best run by a country mile (literally!π)

I was bombarded with emails too. I had actually bought my GSR photos - they were bad and it wasn't really a day to remember, but it was my first big, proper event so I bought the whole pack. You got a bargain there!
I had one of these e-mails a few weeks ago as well, to do with my HM back in 2017! I bought photos at the time, so I'm not sure why they contacted me again.
I got the email, but I have always bought my race photos for the laughs (I always say I won't, but then think it might be a nice thing when I'm old and more immobile π) so they tried to sell me something I already have. You'd think they'd have a record of whether someone has already bought something!
I'm sure they slowed those videos down - I remember mine was more like an old fashioned action replay to check who crossed the finish line in what order πππ
