Suggestions for an exercise bike?

I'm looking to buy an exercise bike. Mainly so that, err, Mrs Monday can get some exercise but I'm likely to use it for cross training.

I'm not looking for a top of the range trainer but it needs to be practical. A bluetooth connection would probably be handy (maybe to display a virtual route or upload to Strava). Space isn't a problem.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I tried looking for a turbo trainer in the stricter part of lockdown and all but the more expensive models were out of stock. It was a similar story with exercise bikes, and real bikes too! Hope that has changed, but sorry I have no helpful advice (I've never used an exercise bike). Good luck though, cycling is definitely great cross training 😊

WattBike. Had mine for ages, expensive when purchased but bomb proof and all the data and connectivity you could wish for.

We have a Tacx Flux 2 Smart (a trainer you attach your own bike to). Works well. You can opt to use additional software with it e.g Zwift or not. Compatible with Strava.
