Rain means no people. A few hardy souls in macs and wellies but generally no need for constant zig-zagging and loud calls of 'Good Morning' as I approach from behind. (Madame Loris hates that!)
I like the rain, lockdown or not. Today I took my new waterproof running jacket out. It wasn't really cold enough to warrant it but I wanted to give it a test run. I soon had to drop the hood to cool down but after the that I was comfortable enough.
My glutes are taking a while to recover after a longish bike ride on Sunday but recovering now.
The other thing I took for a test run is a new ConnectIQ pacing App. For my HM I used the Garmin virtual pacer which is useful but very difficult to read. As I (obviously) didn't have my reading glasses on I had to keep stopping to squint at the screen. The new app has big numbers showing how far ahead or behind on a coloured background. Green for ahead; red for behind. Much easier for pensioners like me.
Happy running all.

Great morning for running. Cool and wet, but not too wet, thankfully
I can't see to do intervals either! Drives me potty. Hate the damned things.I can't run in specs but can't see app/Garmin without For gawd's sake. I do nothing but swear and cuss all the way round.
I like your splendid isolation! Here the dog walkers were out in force as per. I ran with a whippet for a while, which was fun.
There were still plenty of runners, dog walkers and walkers in the rain her this morning when I went out here, I was surprised how many, the app sounds interesting - whatβs it called? Or is it just called oacing app π€«π
