Thanks for sharing this - amazing pictures...
Thanks Floss.
Lovely read and thoughts.
Emotional Floss, just like your masterpieces.
Love Sophie and her running.
Enjoyed also her, “Who do you think you Are”
Hope all good
🏃♀️⭐️👏👏❤️💪💥🙏
Gosh, they’re beautiful photos but really eerie. She’s right, it is like a film set. Thanks for sharing Floss, we are living in a moment of history xxx
Thanks for this link Oldfloss. It must be really strange to be on the streets of London at the moment.
Now she does look like a gazelle!
🦌
Great article Oldfloss - I have seen some of these photos on her Instagram. Amazing woman too! 💪🏃🏽♀️🙂
That’s so good to read, I can’t imagine London so empty...it’s a good few years since I was there but I’ll never forget the busyness and bustle of the place, a feeling that someone coming from Yorkshire wouldn’t like to live in....but I would love to see this ‘abandoned film set’ at this moment in history xx
I read this first thing. I was impressed with her dedication as I’m struggling. Should have run 22 miles today on my original plan. I’m back to 3 miles!! But I thought the photos were amazing. The one on the Mall made me cry as I would have been one of those exhausted runners. My hubby went to our smallish village yesterday to get a few supplies and he said the car park was empty...never seen that before in the 40 years we’ve lived here. Interesting times xx
Thanks for the link Floss, I hope you had a fantastic birthday, everything is so quiet, on Saturday after I ran a 5K I always pass my local leisure centre, its normally very busy with all the different classes going on, spin classes, aerobics etc, now as in Sophies article description it's all eerily silent. Just hope this doesn't last too long.
If we had seen those scenes in a film, we would all have been wondering: how did they clear the streets for that? So real and unreal at the same time. 😳 Thanks for posting this.
Lovely piece. I found it oddly calming.
I too love her form in that first picture - not just the flying feet, but the whole straight, upright posture - form envy right there 😍
She looks so relaxed doesn’t she? So envious! And yet there are photos from yesterday of people sunbathing, playing football and gathering in large groups in London parks. Unbelievable 🤬
Wow!
I read this, it was a nice read. Personally, I think London needs a break ❤️
Tailchaser just put the same link on our WhatsApp group! 😃😅😂🤣
I read it too She’s a lovely lady isn’t she. I remember her early days on Look North 🙂. She’s a heck of a runner too 💪🏃♀️😃
Interesting article. What a weird experience that must have been She’ll never forget her experience. One for the album for sure
I saw the article yesterday, and loved it. I did something similar here in Oslo a couple of weeks ago.
It's like something from a Sci-fi, or maybe a film about the Rapture...only we're all still here hidden away!
I don't know if Sophie generally runs in to work but if the alternative is a tube commute then I think she's made a very wise decision.
Interesting piece thanks Floss 😊
