With all the race cancellations in the last 24hrs I felt so privileged to be able to run tonight. Flying Fox as always put on an amazingly challenging course and provided fantastic support and a wonderful medal at the end.
My first ever race back in Oct 19 was with these guys and tonight was my 4th event. The course was hilly and the mud was DEEP, lots of runners losing shoes and plenty of teamwork.
I cannot imagine life without running although I find some of them tough going the sense of pride at reaching the finish line is 2nd to none.
Happy running folks

Yay! Go you. There's definitely a theme here. Seems cruel to make you wade up those hills and then when you think it's all over you have to face a final weightlifting challenge to heave the bling around your neck! Stamina and endurance right there, and not a grimace to be seen 👏👏👏
Hmmm. The rave didn't happen tiggs (if you mean our vrb meet up in Bath). I think Redcello41 did it, but Cheeky, IP and I all decided against it in the end. It was supposed to be a huge event - 15000 people, and it just didn't feel right in the circumstances. Very diappointing, but I have no regrets thankfully.
