Slow and steady doesn't seem to be possible anymore! 🐒

After two 10k runs this week, today's Parkrun was supposed to be a gentle relaxed slow run. And to all extent and purposes it was. Slow and steady, taking it easy and just enjoying the morning run.

However, my time came in at under 23mins and a friend from work used me as his pacer for a PB.

This HM training is definitely going well and making me stronger, even my slow and steady easy runs have awesome results. Really starting to get quite pumped for race day. Feel like these next 3 months are only going to get better and I might just hit that 1.45 time I got in 2010

Hope everyone else's training is going well and you've started to notice your own gains.

Fantastic. Training long really does help 5k pace! Remain sensible over the next 3 months then hammer it on race day and there's every chance you'll beat it πŸ€£πŸ‘πŸ’ͺ

That’s fast! Great job πŸ‘ I think it’s impossible to have a gentle relaxed slow run at Parkrun πŸƒπŸ™‚

Me neither, they always seem to get in the way of whatever training I’m doing πŸ™„
