Much to ponder

After tripping and falling at home I am finally feeling better but still feeling sore on my right side underneath my chest. It feels like a cross between a belt being tightened and underwire digging in which is not possible as don't wear underwired bras. I went out for a walk this afternoon (Sat 18th Jan) and tried a bit of Jeffing 15/30 completing 2miles. Not a lot but haven't been out for over a week so happy with that.

I am thinking of going out tomorrow using my watch to see if Strava's 13:01 min /mile average pace is true or if it is an anomaly (just used Strava on my phone rather than my watch as forgot to start it). Just hope it is not icy.

I am also debating whether to join a gym or just go casually whilst it's dark at night as don't want to go out on my own plus no one runs at my pace.

As you can see a lot to think about.

It’s just going for a run. Whether at night or during the day. If you can run in the town centre where it’s well lit then you wont even need a head torch. If you don’t want to run alone in the dark then go in the day time

Don’t talk yourself out of things. You’ll be fine. You’ve got this running thing sorted 🙂👍

If no-one runs at your pace then that’s sorted. Go on your own At least if you go alone, you don’t have anyone else tho think about, which might add to your concerns. Keeping things simple will help you stay focussed

Enjoy your runs 😃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Thanks. I do have a tendency to overthink things. Was thinking of going to the gym. The gym I used to be with has pay nothing for January however when I enquired you are actually signing up for membership. Although you can cancel at the end of January, February payment goes out as you are giving 30 days notice. Decided against it.

There’s always a catch isn’t there. Nuffield often have days where you can go along for a taster I don’t think there’s any requirement to sign up

I thought about you while I was out running Gingerly picking my way over frozen pavements I was listening to Coach Bennett. He says that when we decide to run - and go out and do it - then we’re BADASS ! Yeah you 💪😃👍🏃‍♀️ Me too 😁

Remember that 🏃‍♀️

Yes unfortunately. I liked the gym especially the virtual programmes on the treadmill and the bike but I wasn't using in the drier warmer weather and thought this is silly so cancelled. I have a swim only membership at the local leisure centre. If I need to go to the gym I pay £6 for a day pass. Thank you for thinking about me.
