I haven't posted for a while - I was plodding along quite happily but over the last few weeks life has been busy and 'stuff' has been getting in the way of my running plans. Also, when time has allowed me a small window, my desire to run was noticeable only by its absence (quite unusual for me)! Sadly, at the beginning of December, after a difficult couple of weeks, my very lovely mother-in-law passed away. Her funeral, earlier this week in Wales, was a sad but very moving time. It is really only in the last couple of days that I have been looking, rather longingly at my running shoes and thinking it is time to get back out there. So, tomorrow we hit the trails together - and I am quite excited, as I KNOW just how wet and muddy and flooded my favourite route will be! π¦ππ½ββοΈπ¦ Can't wait - seriously!!πx

Ahh, bless. Tough times, especially at this time of year (as I know only too well). I hope you enjoy your splishing, splashing and sploshing tomorrow and that it is just the therapy you need π
Winter loss is very hard. So sad for you. But I hope tomorrowβs run is healing for both body and heart. Take care.
So sorry to hear of your loss Sandra. Do have a good run tomorrow, whatever the weather, and have some you time.
Sorry to hear you sad news Sandra π
I should think that a splashy trail run will be perfect for both of you ,great therapy for the mind and body.
Sending big hugs, Ali xxx
Aww Sandra, Iβm sorry to hear about your lovely mother-in-law. Very sad. I hope your family are able to enjoy happy memories of her. β€οΈ
Enjoy your run - it sounds just what you need and itβll help clear your mind. I love sploshy runs myself, and was hoping to get one in myself this week, but my husband says the towpath by his rowing club is nearly under water in places. Probably not that safe for running. Boo. π©
Happy muddy running! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Oh dear, so sorry to hear that. Now the funeral is over you can start getting back to your routine. Christmas is putting a crimp on running plans isnβt it π€¨.
I am hoping to escape today too and looking forward to a short blast out there
Have a good one πππββοΈ
I was thinking of you last week Sandra and wondered how you were getting on. Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law, thereβs never a good time to lose someone but somehow itβs most poignant at this time of year.
I hope you had a fab run today in all your mud and puddles πββοΈ Splash splash π¦πββοΈπ xxx
I do hope you enjoy your muddy run, you deserve it
