Well, gosh we had a mixed bag of distances in the Challenge this time! Everything from 200 metres right up to 10K! Massive kudos to everyone who gave it a go this time, especially as we had some "interesting" weather π
Quite a few only managed to fit in one run after their baseline, but it was great to see some fabulous efforts there! Amazing work in particular from Windoze and R4inbow !!! And TailChaser well done to you too π
Honourable mention goes to our track star Tbae - you always show up and kick ass - and your 200 metre graph is quite astonishing!! And kpks , for a massive first run, and then holding on for a small improvement in the following week - wonderful stuff!!!!
And my top three speedy superstars this time are:
β daverambo - you were already fast, so your improvements were amazing, well done!!!
β Oldfloss - you refused to give up, and found your inner sprinter π
β UpTheStanley - a sterling performance from you, sir, and it was great to welcome you and Dexy5 to the Challenge for the first time!
But of course, this is not a competition (except with ourselves), so a HUGE MAHOOSIVE WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART!!! Hope to see you again next time πππ
Well done you magnificent bunch of speedsters! Awesome effort all of you. Now go and put your feet up and enjoy Christmas - or better still, sneak some cheeky runs in too. ππββοΈπππ
Thank you for guiding us roseabi. Having a strong wind behind me and getting carried away following UTS on that first run meant I was never going to match it, let alone improve on it, in subsequent runs.
It has been great hasn't it... I really enjoyed it and with roseabi 's guidance and useful tips it really was no effort ... just the weather which would not play ball!
Thank you for doing this again...just having a small, personal challenge again, has helped my running and me... enormously. The advice you gave me was accurate and sound... and despite the weather hampering my last week, I was able to , in your words to me...just go for it.
It was great fun Abi, thank you for organising π€
Some fantastic running there from our VRBs πππ
First time Iβve ever done something like that so Iβm definitely going to have another go - I learned an awful lot about myself and my running. It also helped me to decide what to put in HM training schedule too as I learned the importance of including the faster runs.
Looking forward to the next one! Have a wonderful Christmas xxx
