This tree made me stop in my tracks last Wednesday and go back to take this pic. Stunning colour on a lovely day.
I couldn't run that day and knew deep down I was unlikely to run anytime soon...but so long as nature can provide such a beautiful display I have hopes, no, I know that nature and time will somehow get me back to rights... πͺπ»ππ»π

Wow. Absolutely stunning! I have really been appreciating the autumn colours this year. We have a beautiful sycamore outside our living room window, and it has been a joy watching it go from gold to yellow this year. I am always so sad when all the leaves disappear for winter, but then I remember the joy of watching it bud again in the spring.
You will heal in time, and in the meantime keep working on getting stronger. Just as spring never fails to arrive, you will get back to your beloved running again. β€οΈ Speedy healing, Jo.
Thank you Jan. π how is your injury? I've just been doing a lot of reading this morning, painscience.com a guy called Paul Ingraham. Seems to talk sense, and he has a lot to say about tendonitis. May or may not be worth a look x
I will take a look at that Jo, thank you. It's a bit up and down..sometimes it feels a little better, but the ache is still there. Still stiff too. My patience is wearing thin....xxx
Read that guy's stuff, he talks a lot about the mental effects too. If you've not already, do take a look at Caroline Jordan and her hurt foot programme on youTube. So many workouts you can do that won't impact your injury but will absolutely make you sweat and feel better for doing "something" ππ
