Pretty pleased with that

A very chilly sunny morning so thought would get out there. Achieved a 6.6 mile run just over 10K and mores to the point half of the distance of a half marathon in just over an hour. So really happy with that good preparation training for the half marathon in March 2020. Don’t worry easy runs for rest of the week if any at all before Friday. Good running to all.

I've found it really cold today! More of a lovely day for a duvet 😍😍😍 And that's down south too 🙄

Yes, definitely chilly. But the sun! 🌞 And once running, it was just comfortable instead of either too hot or too rainy or too blustery. Admittedly, I didn’t shed my long sleeved top today - but I did unzip it to reveal ... the tee shirt underneath! 😄

Aargh! I don’t do shorts (tho still in my summer capris); but I had a long sleeve zip top for today.

Really good pace!

Build up to 10 miles. You may (or not) find it easier to take a bit of pace out for your first attempt at distances beyond 10k

Thanks Katnap currently trying to run slow and cover the distance pace seems to stay the same will drop back down for a few runs before going up again.
