We're close to 30% of the way round the Moon currently, so do make sure you give me all your runs, walks, and swims from last week! I'm in for 28.29 km, so a bit better than last week π
On the speed side of things, there have been some sterling comebacks from Snuffy_T and Maddee_6333 - keep them coming!!!
π₯ Please give me your TOTAL DISTANCE data from last week (Monday-Sunday) and/or your AVERAGE SPEED IN MIN/KM as it comes; in the comments below! π₯
6:02 /k by MapMyFitness (as my Garmin totally failed to find satellites). Which Iβm more than pleased with as the weather was much warmer and muggier than the runs when Iβve done my best times, and I thought I was doing really badly.
I wonβt be doing Parkrun next weekend as I have my son staying and heβs currently on crutches after a wrecking his knee playing tag rugby.
A very paltry 24.7k for me, Iβm afraid. The weather really interfered with my plans last week.
Forest of Dean mainly which is where I live. Go out twice a day with my two Irish Setters, even if we all go for a late morning run they still expect an afternoon walk and wonβt settle for anything else ππ± Not sure what I do when we make our half marathon distance attempt, donβt think they will go very far that day, or should that be I wonβt go very far that afternoon π
Fantastic! I think you'll surprise yourself, so long as you take it steady as with the rest its really not that daunting. It's far more an endurance thing but with the dogs to keep you company that will be a big help (I got a bit bored around mile 8 on my first one). A varied and interesting route is also useful ππ»π
Agree with the route, canβt imagine anything more soul destroying than doing laps. Presently am trying to plan route avoiding too many hills, which is not easy in the Forest.π€
Just 47km total for me this week. Had to take an extra rest day instead of long run this week unfortunately. Achilles still a bit sore from non running injury..
I have it all confused, but running and walking up until last night I was at 150km for August plus 1K swimming according to my "steps" app on my phone. Some hasn't been tracked because I didn't have my phone but that's what I have.
I have been on holiday and haven't been checking the website and forgot to give you my figures
Ok then - that week was rather a measly 16k total running and the same walking. Nothing remarkable which is probably why I didnβt post it! But it all counts eh? ππ
So, that's 9s faster. The distance went up because I added some easy runs on my gap days; after some discussion, it's going to be quite a while until I run that far in a week again!
Not sure if youβve updated my W2 tally roseabi (I commented earlier), but I made a mistake and miscalculated my walking tally. I actually walked 20k (I missed out my grass cutting!!) π π
Sorry my distance and speed is dwindling each week! Mainly due to hip and heel woes. But still...
Total distance: 23.7k (runs: 9.6k and walks 14.1k)
Speed: 5.42
I have a feeling osteo will tell me to give running a break when I see him on Friday so I may not be able to add much next week. But I will still add my walks!
Speed challenge: Think I need to skip the rest of this!
Distance challenge: 6.14km
I'm posting early because I don't think I'll be adding any more distance for a while. Maybe I'm being too flippant about this but I'm going to be grounded for a while due to having a heart attack yesterday. As per my "Mega Hurrumph" post, the outlook looks good.
Thanks. I fully intend to keep posting. Being in the right place (hospital) I'm really relaxed about this. My HM at the end of September is looking somewhat unlikely now. I guess there's a possibility that my first event will be a full marathon (but I wouldn't put money on that right now)!
