Morning! Lovely day for a slightly brutal run after a couple of quiet running weeks for me. Iβve only just signed up for this, and itβs pointless anyone competing with linda9389βs prodigious bicycle mileage π but I can chuck my 23.41km run into the pot. Iβm having a pint with the posh folk of Brookmans Park looking askance at the sweaty bloke. Donβt even try and make me feel guilty...
Haha! Your cycle mileage is pretty high too! Pretty sure the distance challenge isn't a competition though, but a team effort to get round the moon - so on that basis I should be your new BFF π
My feet are a bit horrific at present. I have a big toe nail almost off so am taping it for runs and bed time Came home today with a blister and another traumatised nail - which was my fault for not cutting it short enough π. I went to trim it earlier as it was bothering me and it popped. Feels better now π.
Two weeks ago, my 2nd 20 minute interval was at 5:31/km so there's some improvement there. Last week it was 6:49, not a great run but would have been a good baseline.
If things go to plan, distance should be about the same each week.
Weeeel the speed was not very speedy but I chose a tempo run from the Nike coach thingybob, which I thought was a flat out sorta thing. It wasn't. Oh well, it was good and I enjoyed it.
