I’m new here and haven’t a clue! But I like running

I’ve not long done a 5k so planning a marathon run feels a bit like shooting for the moon. But what the hey.

Anyone got any tips on my next step towards running the big ‘M’?

Welcome to the forum!

Do you have a particular marathon in mind? Tell us more 😄

I'd suggest you start by working towards 10K, then 10 miles (16K), and then the half marathon. These are good goals to aim for, and you should able to find events to sign up for at all of those distances.

If you haven't already, take a look at the Magic Running Plan on the Bridge to 10K forum. We're part way through the current one, but you can begin it any time you want. The next group will start towards the end of August.
