After months of training and those pesky gremlins telling me it is too tough, I have my first half marathon tomorrow. I am beyond excited and incredibly nervous. The only expectation I have of myself is to make it across the finish line and finish strong. Wish me luck!

Tomorrow is the big day!
You will be fine...just KNOW you will do this... embrace the whole feeling of the day and relax...
When you get there you will find your nerves disappear and a lovely calm comes over you..just let the legs do what they know best... start slow and keep it steady...keeping a little in the tank for the last few miles
I cannot wait for your post run report...
Good luck to you kwell39 for your half marathon tomorrow, not sure which one, the main thing is, go run it and enjoy yourself 😊. I certainly wish you luck. 👍
Thanks AlMorr. I am in Boise, ID in the US and am running in the Idaho Potato Marathon/HM. It is fitting that a potato bar awaits us at the end.
Good luck! Enjoy! I agree with Oldfloss - the minute you start to run, calm will descend and you'll run your race just the way you want to. Nearly there now
Yay! You'll smash it I'm sure!
Potatoes are good for carbs so enjoy that bar after you finish! 😁

Like you I have a hm tomorrow in Chester. I wish you all the bestest of luck and we can tell our stories on here after we have both smashed our hms👍👍😀🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️
I get nervous before a run. I always question why I signed up. Never feel that afterwards though. You'll be fine and so glad you did. You've got this.
Good luck
