2 week plan for 10k

Hi. So my next 10k is two weeks today and having come off the back of HM and some needed recovery time I went out for a slow 10k today so I know my legs are feeling good and my pace is where I want it. Slow 10k was around 57. My goal is sub 50 but realistically I'll be happy with below 52.

Anyhow going to give this a whirl. 2 week plan.

Basically looks like the tail end of a standard longer plan but tweaked a little. Its assuming you have that distance already in your runs.

Could be useful for those with a busy race calendar 😎😜

I’d also kill for that 10k time right now πŸ˜‚

Dropping from HM you got the endurance in the legs, so it’s gonna be a fun couple of weeks. Good luck getting sub 50, and if you get to the finish over 52, to heck with it and celebrate completing 31k of events in a couple of weeks because you’re awesome.

Oh crikey Windoze, that sounds far too organised! I have been doing 10k’s for weeks so that’ll do me. 57 minutes sounds amazing! Good luck with your target, I’m sure you’ll do it πŸ’ͺπŸ‘Š I would simply like to beat my PB of 1hr 6 mins, which I should be able to. For me this race will just be for the experience as it’ll be the biggest I’ve ever run in. And I’m not scared...at all...πŸ˜³πŸ€“ See you there!
