Next Monday I am travelling to Lucerne with my choir, just overnight. But we have a running club who tend to only run when we're "on tour" so to speak. We went to Paris in June and had a lovely run along the canal from the Concert Hall and back again. However I was the only soprano who ran, there were a few altos, but the run was mainly dominated by tenors and basses. This time I'm hoping to encourage more of the woman to run while we are away (I know there must be some other runners in my section), so I'm hoping to tempt them by telling them what a fabulous place it will be to run.
However, the problem is I have no idea if there are any good routes. I need to run at least 10k (on my HM training plan) and an out and back route would enable us all to run together and those who want to run 5km to turn back sooner.
Any suggestions of running routes, or ways to convince some of the others to join us would be much appreciated.

I use good run guide for planning routes. You are represented on the route by a little runner icon. It’s great fun. You can toggle between footpath and satellite mode I use it a lot as a recce aid
I just put Lucerne into Mapmyrun/find routes (set distance as BETWEEN and then 5k and 10k and Neighbourhood). If the link works, this is one of the ones that came up mapmyrun.com/routes/view/14...
