Can anyone help?

I am looking for an app to put a customised training plan in. I want to be able to put all my different cross training schedules in on the day I want and then to add in my times and distances after the workout. I would like it to cross off the workout as I do them but keep a track of the different workouts.

My Garmin keeps track of what I do and has a calendar but I don’t think I can put a custome made plan in. It seems like a simple thing but it is so hard to find.

I guess I’m looking for something like the old Myasics app used to be like but for cross training.

Thanks in advance

Rfc x.

I think runkeeper logs various activities Have a look. I have a running plan that’s being logged. I noticed there’s s section for other activities too

There are various 'workout tracker' type apps available, this sort of thing - itunes.apple.com/gb/app/wor... or play.google.com/store/apps/...

I haven't used one though, so can't comment of course. Not really sure this is what you want anyway!

I'm pretty happy just to put my plan in a Google spreadsheet and log the workouts on Strava (as well as GPS tracking of runs and rides, other types of workout can be added manually, and with notes and photos it's pretty good as a diary!). I just use my pc and phone, haven't got a running watch. My phone's a Google one so I can easily check my spreadsheet when I'm out if I want to.

Sorry, I realise this is no help! Maybe we need to develop this app ourselves :)

Thank you, I think you are right what I am looking for hasent been made yet.

What I liked about MyAsics plan app is it put the runs up but them didn’t allow you to deviate too much, you could move the runs around in the week but if you didn’t do one it let you know you were behind schedule. That push to keep me In Check works for me and I didn’t want any negatives on my training plan. I would like to do the same with all my training.

The ones I have tried with a calendar let me take exercises off if I can’t do them on that week so they just don’t give me the same thing.

One of the reasons I am looking for this is I am thinking about going back to Triathlon training as this is when my body was at its happiest but I hate the bike and I need some accountability to go out once a week otherwise I really will cheat, 😂😂😂.

I am going to be working hard on the bike next time I do a triathlon - unfortunately I'm not doing it until next year, else we could be accountabilibuddies :) Why do you hate it?

I use a simple app called MyTherapy to remind (nag) me to take my hrt pill and do my physio exercises, I find it quite helpful - although sometimes I also feel a little persecuted by it as I have a lot of physio exercises! And as you say about the calendar apps, I can just cancel them if I want to :D

The bike, chequered history, I live in London on the top of a hill, I hate hills and bikes, I am terrified of the road around me as pepole drive like mad men and I only got my first ever bike and starting riding in 2013. Not a good history 😂😂😂😂😂. Am thinking about a fold up one to go to places like the Olympic park on the train, I might find that more fun.

Sounds like a good idea! I enjoy riding but I know what you mean about other road users!!

I've just been introduced to Training Peaks. Not free, but very good. More or less does what you're asking for, I think.
