Endomondo has sent me a email asking how I did in the distance challenge for the year. I forgot about this and hadn't paired my garmin stats so they said I haven't competed.
But look at the mileage that some got. That's over 100 miles every week. Wow.
I edited out the names and just put the distances.

Blimey, it puts my 100k in one month well and truly in its place! How do they find the time? Their bodies must be made of steel - or they're professional sportspeople. I think I'll just keep plodding on and won't compete with the rest of the world. Happy running!
I read an "article" on Facebook about marathon training. It said something along the lines of "for some people a weekly distance of 40-50 miles is all that's needed but many do better with 70-90 miles per week". That made me very happy to be a grumpy old wannabe who doesn't compare.
