I seem to remember the days when packing for your holidays involved swimsuits, suncreams and paperback holiday romances...

eheh... I had the same problem on my last trip to Italy 2 weeks ago and ended up "forgetting" a couple of jean's and short and more elegant polo (for evenings out) to make some space for additional t-shirts and running equipment :)

ended up travelling wearing my running shoes (landing in Italy with temperatures over 35...)

having access to a washing machine have become a must on holidays ;)

Ha ha, heady days weren't they! Mind you I think the only hot holiday I ever had was in 1976 in Scarborough. Schorchio!

I think you'll enjoy this one much more !! Hope it's not too hot for you TT

I see you have Saucony's. My faves too. Just got some Zealots and I love them. Switched to them for my day to day running from Kinvara's which are a tad delicate on the uppers.

Have a lovely time!

A washing machine Marco! The sweaty running duds go into the shower with you. You too can be a multi-tasker. LOL

My last hot holiday was on the Gower in 1958! I haver been told by Ironson , who has already tested the 25K course he's mapped out for me, that I have to get up and run early. Experimented this morning in Yorkshire with a 7 am start and felt very virtuous but I suspect he means earlier than that. I love Sauconys. Have worn no other brand for the last two years after an unfortunate experience with Brooks. They are so light! I'm on my third pair now and may just treat myself to another at the Berlin expo. Heck, just realised the time. Why am I on t'internet when I should be packing? .

If you're owt like me your packing won't take long. I hate packing so hardly anything. I used to pack a corkscrew. I don't even need that now. Travelling light, travelling light, tum ti tum, tra la la

I have been dog sitting for the past week and have been up every morning before dawn. On the streets in me jammies. Much cooler time of day but whether it will be in France ..... Still, you'll soon be finding out. Have fun!

I love the Kinvaras for racing! The Zealots are a bit more cushioned so good for training. Still very light though!

I have reynauds syndrome and my hands cramp on long runs without gloves. Also I have to do two..long run s while I'm away and the forecast is for scorching weather. And you really want me to wear the same kit each time ??? Girls need that extra bit of kit called a sports bra. Plus I have a hat with a neck shield to avoid sunstroke. Honestly you're as bad as my husband. At least I only pAcked one pair of shoes. Am already fretting that I should have brought a spare pair...;-)

Am near Loche. An hour southeast of Tours! It is lovely. Ironson has 26K route planned out for me tomorrow!
